All-Natural Vanilla Mint Toothpaste
Making your own natural toothpaste can be simple and fun with a few household items. The recipe we have created contain so many wonderful properties that help support the teeth, gums, and overall immune system. Jazzy Smiles toothpaste has antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, and anti-inflammatory properties as well as being an astringent, providing immune support, and helping to remineralize the teeth.
- ¼ Cup Bentonite Clay
- ¼ Tsp Baking Soda (sodium bicarbonate)
- 2 ½ Tsp Xylitol
- 1/8 Tsp Celtic Sea Salt
- 1 Tsp Organic Coconut oil (optional)
- 2 Tsp Vanilla (optional)
- 11 drops doTerra Peppermint Essential Oil (optional)
- Filtered/Distilled water, as needed for desired consistency
Add all ingredients into bowl, except filtered water. Slowly stir in filtered/distilled water to make a paste. Feel free to add your own favorite essential oil for desired taste.
For people with active tooth decay apply overnight:
Take small amount on your clean fingertip, or toothbrush and rub onto surfaces of the teeth; leave on teeth overnight. Do not eat or drink after you have applied the paste.
If rash or other side effect manifests due to use of this/these products, discontinue use immediately and seek professional medical care.
