Karl Petersen, DDS, is a kind and gentle provider who is passionate about rejuvenating smiles and addressing oral-systemic connections through minimally invasive and integrative care approaches. To stay at the forefront of his profession, Dr. Petersen annually purses more than 100 hours of continuing education courses with leaders in the areas of restorative, surgical, and regenerative dentistry. He is also an active collaborator with several local dental and medical communities to determine how to most effectively screen and treat individuals for sleep-disordered breathing.
Dr. Petersen’s clinical philosophy can best be stated as, “What is the most I can do to help patients achieve excellent dental and whole-body health?” In his spare time, Dr. Petersen enjoys cooking, kayaking, social dancing, and outdoor adventures. During the summer, you may often find Dr. Petersen kayaking along the St. Croix.
