IAOMT-SMART CERTIFIED

Dr. Kaur is SMART Certified!

The Safe Mercury Amalgam Removal Technique (SMART) was developed by the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT) for reducing the potential negative health risks associated with the removal of existing dental mercury amalgam fillings. The SMART Certification serves to assist in reducing mercury exposure to patients and dental professionals.

Through the SMART Certification, Dr. Kaur has completed coursework related to mercury and the safe removal of amalgam fillings. The SMART Certification training program included two modules of scientific readings, online learning videos, examinations, the application of rigorous safety measures and the utilization of specific equipment.

The entire TKDDS Team has been trained by Dr. Kaur in the SMART recommendations and is qualified and ready to support you in mercury safe amalgam removal.
